SAN FRANCISCO--An Instagramed photo taken today in San Francisco confirms one of the many rumors circling Apple’s WWDC next week-- that iOS 6 will be announced.
The snap, taken by one Zac Altman, shows a banner for iOS 6 being erected at the Moscone convention center where Apple is holding the event.
Apple has not yet confirmed iOS 6 as a product, but speculation about the upgrade from iOS 5 has been rampant.
Other, still to be confirmed rumors about the announcements at WWDC include Siri for iPad, a new look for iTunes and the App Store, as well as a controversial switch from Google Maps to the Cupertino, Calif. firm’s own brand offering.
