I just received a jolly friendly email from the folks at NXP thanking me for visiting them at the Embedded Systems Conference, a DESIGN West summit, in Silicon Valley, at the McEnery Convention Center, March 26 - 29, 2012, and
"For attending our informative sessions."Well, they are welcome – it was no effort on my part at all – not the least that I didn’t actually attend the conference this year (grin).

One video that immediately caught my eye was about an Angry Birds slingshot (as shown below), but there's a bunch of other stuff that will doubtless keep me busy for ages...
